Quality & compliance

Settled on record, not on recollection

Most freight disputes come down to what someone remembers. We would rather hand you the timestamp, the photo, and the signature, and have the conversation take four minutes instead of four days.

On every job

What gets recorded

GPS trail

Location captured through the driver application from assignment to completion, not reconstructed afterwards from memory.

Timestamped status chain

Each step — assigned, collected, in transit, delivered — carries its own time, so wait time and dwell are evidenced rather than argued.

Photographs

Condition and handling photos at pickup and delivery. If something is already damaged when we collect it, that is on the record before we move it.

Proof of delivery

Recipient name, signature, and time, issued as a document you can forward to your customer without editing it first.

Who is driving

Driver qualification

Nobody works a job unassisted until their file is complete. The file is what a forwarder or a qualification team actually asks to see.

  • TSA Security Threat Assessment or TWIC — a TWIC is recognised as a comparable credential under 49 CFR §1540.205 and satisfies the screening requirement.
  • Hazardous materials training before handling regulated freight unaccompanied; certificates available on request.
  • Criminal background check and verified citizenship or authorisation to work.
  • Per-driver eligibility tracked, so facility-access jobs only go to drivers who qualify for that site.

How we run

A documented quality system

We maintain a written quality system covering driver qualification, dispatch, handling, records, and how we deal with something going wrong. Procedures carry a document number, a revision, and an effective date, and changes go through a controlled process rather than being edited quietly.

To be clear about what that is and is not: the system is built to an ISO 9001:2015-compatible structure. Midpoint Xpress is not ISO certified, and we will not imply otherwise. If certification is a hard requirement for your vendor approval, tell us early and we will give you a straight answer about where we stand.

Procedures, driver qualification records, training records, and insurance certificates are provided during onboarding or on request.

The usual questions

Insurance, authority, and paperwork

Insurance

We carry cargo, auto liability, and general liability coverage at the levels our work requires. A current certificate of insurance is available on request, and we can have your company named as certificate holder.

Air cargo

We hold no indirect air carrier programme of our own. Shipments are tendered under the security programme of record for that consignment, by drivers who hold an STA or TWIC.

Onboarding packets

Send us your vendor questionnaire, insurance requirements, and rate confirmation format. We have been through the process and will not hold it up.

Vendor onboarding

Send us the questionnaire.

If you are qualifying carriers, tell us what you need and we will return it completed rather than partially. If something does not apply to us, we will say so instead of leaving a blank.
